I think that there should be a possibility to see what airlines have owned an aircraft before similar to airline empires and you should also be able to see which routes airlines operate from or to an airport on a map.
I also like the idea of being able to see the top 5 largest operators of a certain aircraft type on the aircraft details pages. It would be an interesting addition to create more immersion into the game world.
