Lead Time For New Aircraft Leasing/Purchasing

If an airline is currently awaiting delivery of a new leased/purchased aircraft, will placing additional orders for that aircraft type subject the airline to the lead-time or only the build-time?

e.g. Let’s say an airline is currently awaiting delivery of new leased a320. Will placing another a320 order result in delivery in ~3 days (build time) or ~10 days (lead and build time)?

3 days, I’ve done this with placing additional 787 orders.
