Exponential growth

To stop the exponential growth of airlines, managers should buy very expensive licenses where the number of aircraft that can be purchased is limited.

Example:

License A = 5 Aircraft $ 1.000.000.000.
License B = 10 aircraft $ 2.000.000.000

What do you think?

I like this idea although $1b seems rather high for just 5 aircraft.

I like the idea of limiting exponential growth in general, but one more realistic way to do it would be significantly increasing taxes as an airline’s revenue increases.
